Todd practices in the areas of general litigation, handling all types and kinds of cases, including serious cases involving personal injury, property damage, construction or commercial losses, and worker's compensation. He has an "AV" rating in Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating attorneys can obtain. He is also listed in the Super Lawyers and has been listed in Super Lawyers for at least the last five years. He has practiced law for more than 34 years and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and all Montana state and federal courts. He participated in the longest civil trial in Flathead County (nine weeks). He was the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mountain West Bank, one of the five largest banks in Montana. He served for two terms on the Board of Directors of the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association and has been a long-time member of that Association.
He graduated cum laude from Whitman College in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in political science-philosophy and received his law degree from the University of Montana Law School in 1979. He served on the editorial staff of the Montana Law Review from 1977 to 1979 and was a business manager of the Montana Law Review. Following graduation from law school, he clerked with the Montana Supreme Court from 1979-1980. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Flathead Industries for the Handicapped and the Flathead United Methodist Camp. He is married, has two children, and enjoys tying flies and fly fishing. Most importantly, he can be found in his drift boat on several Montana rivers at various times of the year.
Marcel practices predominately in the areas of insurance defense and civil litigation. She graduated at the top of her class from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice and minors in philosophy and business administration. She continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia, where she graduated with honors in 2006.
After obtaining her law degree, Marcel practiced with the litigation team at Pierce Atwood, a leading New England law firm. Subsequently, she moved back to her home turf in Kalispell, Montana, where she resides with her husband and children. Marcel has been with the law firm since 2009. She enjoys working with local Montana insureds and clients on litigation matters.
Tammy has spent more than 21 years representing individuals and businesses in civil litigation in Montana state and federal courts, both at the district and appellate levels, with an emphasis on personal injury and wrongful death cases, employment litigation, and insurance coverage, including the defense of multiple insurers against extra-contractual claims through trial by jury. Tammy earned her B.S.B.A. with honors from the University of Arkansas in 1989 and her Juris Doctorate with high honors from the University of Montana in 1994. She is admitted to the State Bar of Montana, as well as the U.S. District Court of Montana and the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
Tammy is a distinguished BV, rated by Martindale-Hubbell; past president of the Western Montana Bar Association; past president of the Missoula Food Bank; and a former Trustee of the State Bar of Montana, 2006 through 2014.
She is an active member of the Defense Research Institute and the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. She serves clients throughout the Flathead and Missoula Valleys. When away from the practice, she enjoys watching the trout rise with her husband, Graeme, from their homes on the Bitterroot River in Montana and the Calcurrupe River near Lago Ranco, Chile.
Seth’s practice focuses on civil defense, personal injury and workers’ compensation. He grew up in Billings, Montana and earned his bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate from the University of Montana. He is admitted to the State Bar of Montana and the U.S. District Court of Montana. Upon graduation from law school, he clerked for the Hon. Judge Laird of the 17th Judicial District, then worked as an associate attorney at Linnell, Newhall, Martin & Schulke in Great Falls, Montana.
Seth is a recent transplant to the Flathead Valley, though he spent many summers vacationing in the area as a child. When not working, he enjoys hiking, golfing, watching Griz football and water skiing on Flathead Lake.
